... what a bunch of puffs!!

I along with about 300 other club runners, (not to mention younger age group boys & girls events)
ran around a 3 lap (6 mile) cross-country course at Cramlington and the sun hadn't
even began to thaw the surface, it was like running on concrete in studded shoes, the worst parts being a
chowed up mud area that was rock hard and with divots and crevices, although there were fallers,
how no-one didn't turn an ankle or injure themselves is beyond belief, but did the North East Harrier League officials
consider postponing the meeting? Did the participants back out of running? Well not likley.. the race went ahead as scheduled!

Oh by the way I made it to The Vic just after kick off and those pie 'n' chips didn't touch the sides!!

46 mins 04 seconds would have liked to have been a bit quicker but
as mentioned earlierit was extremely difficult conditions, having said that
it didn't seem to affect or slow down the fast lads!

By the way don't be too bothered about being "off topic" it's what everyone does on here....
.... isn't it??

Undersoil heating isn't hooked up, and the groundsman is completely inept at what he does - did the same last year with their home game against Grimsby.

If we can play our game, why can't they play theirs? Did they leave the covers off again? rolfl

To be fair though, it's not as simple as that. I'm disapointed that it was called off, as it means yet another game to be played at a later date. It's fairly embaressing actually, especially after stating the game would be on a day or so before.

Is it true the 'undersoil heating' consists of a huge Victory v buried under the pitch...?

WELL on sat as i had to work and couldn'r get to the match, ADG had given me the halftime rundown, and my next job was in loidland, as i was beavering away in this gadgies kitchen cupboard, his youngen said " i hope our match isnt called of on sunday", to which i butted in with "just been told my lads rugger match has been"......his dad then said to the two ladies (loose term in loidland i know), " I was only going to go coz the lad got in for nowt and i only had pay £11", so i asked is drlos match off, and was told yes posponed at 14:20........

S o i said , you should have gone through to victoria park they are playing! (STRANGER LOOKS THAN NORMAL FROM LOID LADIES), then right on cue my phone burst into life with.......Mr ECG shouting "come on poolies!.....and a gaggle of bunkerites and others singing " we know how to play be it home or away here at hartlepool", which is my txt message ringtone, i checked said message from Mr ADG and informed them we were 1-nil up..................MAGIC!
