I still don't understand why he came back. He had the money, the property, the new identity. Why come back and get into trouble?

If his sons really were unaware then surely the best way to deal with it was to get the wife to invite them to Panama and seal with it over there.

he came back to check his post as he had applied for so many credit cards with his own name and address
i suppose when he gets to court that might work for him he forgot who he was so came home to check
