I like M&S - the tins of vege curry in particular are very nice

and percy pigs are top

When Michael Marks, a Russian born Polish refugee landed in Great Britain in the 1880's it was in the port of Hartlepool. Just thought I'd share that with you.

I'd love to see that in the Daily Mail.... right next to a letter along the lines of "How dare the government let all these lazy Poles come and take all of our British jobs! Er... after just spending 4 days in the UK it seems to me that EVERYONE selling food (or at least those who have some claim to speaking English natively) attaches a poncy description to it.
They don't all sell over the odds though it's true.
