that seems to be the excuse of the day. Well if any one of the strarting 11 was emotional they should not have started simple as that.

Of course they were fuucking emotional, many of those lads have lost one of their best mates ffs. Can we not cut the lads a bit of fuucking slack for once, they went out tried their best and got beat, it's one phuqing game. It can't of been easy for them. If you have lost someone you love is your mind fully on the job? Do you ask for a few weeks off? Or do you go to work try your best and try to muddle through?

As supporters we have lost a game, the players have lost a friend..... Give them a break..

This is not a 9 till 5 job this is football. Come the end of the season this result may come to haunt us either at the top or bottom. There proffesional footballers they are paid to win matches. Today was disgracefull from the formation to the way they played. Was everyone using the emotion excuse when we equalised ?????

If we were selecting a team on that basis I very much doubt we would have even got a 5 a side team out stpid stpid

That has to be one of the most insensitve posts I have ever read on here. Sorry lads, you're footballers, you're not real people you're only pretendy ones so you're not allowed to show emotion. Crazy stuff this post like.

i dont think anybody knows exactly how they are going to feel in a unique set of circumstances until they actually experience it.

clearly there were players, on and off the field, with tears in their eyes during the minutes silence, and im sure there were some players who coped with the occassion better than others. but they had no way of knowing how they were goping to cope a couple of hours before they went out there.

some handled the situation well, others didnt. it was sad to see a day where we were meant to be paying our respects end with brawling.

personally the result was largely irrelevant, i just wish michaels friends and family that were there, didnt have to witness such a very ugly game of football.

sums it up about right there like
