To my hate list

Horrible example of a footballer, and not a very good one at that

Anyone else see him encourage the ref to send the Everton player off on Saturday

Little turd

Liverpool got away with a mugging at Everton the refs decisions were a disgrace.

Agree, but let's not change the subject, eh?

Gerrard is a vacuous man, who is about as loyal as a pet cat, one footed and one dimensional

If I was a Brazilian player for instance, I would be over the moon he was playing against me

Can anyone explain to me how Liverpool were lucky to beat Everton on Saturday? They were by far the better team. Everton had 1 shot on target and were reminiscent of Wimbledon in their glory days.

Oh and the Gerrard incident. He did what any player would have done. He wasn't baying the ref, he clearly stated that he was the last man. If it was Joel Porter in a Pools v Darlo match, we'd all be backing him.

The ref was a ding for not immediately going for his red card.

I admit the ref made some woeful decisions like the Lescott penalty incident at the end, and Kuyts flying tackle but Everton would not have deserved a point anyway.

Does it also not occur to people that he may have pulled the wrong card out first, or that the referees assistant may have said it was a red?

Also like him or loathe him, you cannot call Gerrard a poor player. He's been consistently excellent and the driving force behind Liverpools success in the last 5 years. There are players that I hate such as Cristiano Ronaldo, but i could never deny that he's an excellent player. That would just be wrong.

We will have to disagree, his inability to perform when he pulls on the England shirt is a complete mystery to me and I think if ANY player other then a player from the 'Big Four' had done what Gerrard did the ref would of stood his ground

Chester-le-Street's Clattenburg is not the best ref in the world, anyone remember his shambolic performance 2 or 3 seasons ago at The Vic, think it may have been in a cup game against Tranmere Rovers

Yep, I didn't know who it was but as soon as you said 'Clattenburg' Mr John, I understood what might have happened.

He made a passing comment to the ref. Every single player would do the same, infact they would stress there point even more and probably result in shouting in the referees face.

Oh and did I really just read someone say "how were liverpool lucky"?

sctatchinghead

Probably the worst refereeing performance iv seen. Wasnt it just after that match that he became a premiership ref?

Sorry, I disagree, he used his 'influence' as Livergggggpoooollllll' player lar, he is beneath contempt, but what annoys me even more is he must be one of most overrated players in Europe, he is gash, and if anyone can give evidence other wise I'll eat shite with the flies

Yeah. That was me. I don't think they were. I also think the England team have all under-performed and it's harsh to single out individuals. I personally blame Steve McClaren's ineptitude as opposed to the players (though I can see why people are wound up by the overpaid England players)

I don't particularly like Frank Lampard, but the England fans crucify him. He is an outstanding talent. Other managers would get the best out of that squad.

A good manager will, but it shouldn't take that, should it, arent they the cream of the crop??

I've never liked Gerrard but he's turning into a bigger tit week by week.

I don't mind Frankie Lampard though.....
