At the end of the day when your time is up you die simple as that young, middle aged or old. All this bollox about food etc people are getting paid for feck all to come up with these statistics (like some one said y/day re going to gym or being obese people will live there lives how they see fit), years gone by people were lucky to live past 40-45 yrs of age now the average is about 70 i would think. Live for today feck the rest ive seen to many people die young in my shortish life (33) too worry about much else now.

However a whole different debate which i dont know which to sway on is the debate about obese or people who smoke getting pushed to the back of the queue for operations, should this be right. I know majority of the blame is laid with them ie getting themselves in that state but should they be denied priority health care.

People who work and pay tax should be given priority NHS care at the expense of those who don't.

Either that or just scrap the NHS all together and go the American way of private health insurance for all.

If you can't look after your sick, ALL of them equally, then your country really is fooked.

The biggest drain on the NHS is not it's patients, it's drug requirements, it's employees or even the 4bn quids worth of spurious claimants.

It's the stupid IT system. They've sunk 12bn into a system that simply doesn't work and has never gone live. I'm no IT expert, heaven forfend, but I did work for a company active in 26 countries with 158 factories and offices across the world and a very wide product range and I'm fairly sure that THEY didn't spend 12bn on their computer system.

Global warming....... so what caused the Ice Age... ...and when that ended, I suppose that was global warming wasn't it ....but what caused that 'Global Warming',...... Bronze Age 4x4's...?
