I want to see the best one win, not the one with the biggest hooters. Thought on the whole the Tango's were off. maybe it's the music. I like proper Tango music, not this pop stuff. If we keep following the yanks version, the Paso and Viennese Waltz are next week.

Salsa should be passionate informal and spontaneous - its a natual feeling and expression rather than a series of preordained steps. The last two are the precise reason why it never seems to be done properly on this series. I don't think the routines show the true nature which is best observed in a steamy and usually quite seedy cuban basement club sort of place. Yes I know XBL is more formal and more akin to ballroom so I suspect they'll go with a routine based on NY/LA cross body lead style.

Probably the most important thing (as with most partner dances) is the strength of the lead and the ability of the follower to interpret that lead. There's nothing worse that dancing with a woman who wants to decides for herself what move shes going to do for herself. I'm hoping for some real Cuban interpretation rather than a ballroom dance to latin music.
