Quickly: This is how I see it, first half was ours. First 25 mins of second half was quite even. Last 20 mins we were pressurised.

"The second half was even more one sided than the first"
Can they honestly say they dominated the first half?

"despite giving their hosts an absolute battering"

"The Pirates peppered the goal with shots and crosses throughout the 90 minutes" I wouldn't call 10 shots, 6 on target peppering.

End of the day, they had 3 more shots than us. We had 3 more corners than them. Over the 90 mins it could have gone either way but it went our way for a change, I wouldn't have argued with a point...but that report is one of the most biased I've read.

On second thinking I seem to remember a lot of Leeds fans on BBC 606 complaining about his match report on them.

At the end of day are we bothered?

We have got stick by our own fans for playing well on our travels and losing by the odd goal, we got the points tonight.

It is true they didn't threaten seriously for 70 minutes, in the first half they didn't have a shot. Maybe they deserved a point they didn't get one though, hard luck. We have learned at Luton , Leeds, and Forest you have to be ruthless in this division. They were unbeaten away since March so tonight is a great three points if you ask me, the type of three points you get when you pick the correct back four!

The last two sentences are the best like:

The referee's whistle seconds later signalled the end of an entertaining game of football, although the scoreline was far from a fair reflection of the balance of play.

It was fairly obvious to anyone at the game who should have taken the three points, and the Rovers players could rightly feel extremely hard done by to leave Victoria Park with nothing.

Totally biased match report but we are the ones with the points and thats all that counts in the end.
