Barker, surely rested with a view to starting on Friday, 2 goals in 2 games from open play so confidence will be at his season high. What will dropping him at the moment do to that?

Porter, Sets up 2 goals and scores a hat trick. Can we really leave him on the bench again?

Moore, getting better all the time, chipping in with the odd goal or two and looks more settled out wide.

Brown, up front or out wide? Certainly seems more useful upfront and surely a certain starter?

I really dunno what I or Wilson will do.

Basically we know Monky will be left wing and we know Brown cant be dropped and got to assume he will be upfront and therefore Moore will have to be right wing. So its Porter or Barker up front sctatchinghead I think id prefer Porter but will Wilson do it?

I reckon James Brown will miss out.

Great player, bag of tricks, but the last few games???

Porter, Barker up front.

Monkhouse, Moore on the flanks.

Brown and Mackay on the bench.

That would seem to fit with Wilson's "way" of wanting hard working teams.

Reckon you're right ECG, but it's the 2 goals conceded every game that worries me!!

First home game for me Friday, can't wait. I reckon 3-2. clappp

I thought Brown was great upfront against Forest.

Been shite when on the wing mind.

I agree with the Ripper and if things are going pear shaped bring on McKay - he scored against them last season and that was ruled offside - incorrectly in my opinion.

There are two ways of looking at it aren't there.

Rested so Wilson could field our best team last night or rested to keep him fresh for Friday?

Monkhouse might not be 100% fit so he may be on the bench, with Porter on the left.

My team would be

Budtz
McCunnie Clark Nelson Humphreys
Moore Liddle Boland Porter
Brown Barker

Subs
Monkhouse Foley MacKay Antwi Sweeney

I don't think he'll have a sub keeper on the bench again, so if that's the case I would like to see that lot above.

It would be harsh for any of the forwards to be left out on current form, it's a real tricky one but I'm excited with the prospect of watching Brown and Porter up top together, Moore looks better suited to a wide role which means Barker misses out for me. Harsh I know.

Who'd have thought we'd be having this debate when most were of the opinion before the start of the season that we'd struggle to score goals!!

Danny Wilson could play 4-3-3 and leave Monkey on the bench.........

Playing either Brown or Moore as part of a three man midfield would be asking for trouble.

It does because despite what some of you say Wilson isn't an idiot. You can't play a centre forward as a part of a three man midfield, as against anyone half decent you'd get over run.

I dont think monky seems the same player this season, i cant put my finger on why like he just doesnt seem like the same player as last season.

Monkhouse would be first choice, it's only injury and suspension that's kept him out. Injury is why I think he might not be in the starting XI, because apart from that the lad is class and would be in the team every week if he was fit and on form.
