Do you reckon England can beat France? If so can then then beat the South Africans or indeed, the Argies.

After last Saturday's results I wouldn't try and second guess what will happen, save to say that both semis could go either way!

I reckon South Africa will win their game. England/France looks too close to call.
I haven't played rugger since I was at Henry's - it was the main sport there. Hooker as well!!! Not that it's the reason for my permanent good looking face

What time is the rugby on at the weekend?

Does it clash with the footie?

Will The No Rarfs Arms have the England footie game on?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sportacademy/hi/s ... 028395.stm

Footy kicks off at 3pm
Rugger kicks off at 8pm

No Rarfs Arms will be screening both matches.

I reckon that England will just shade it but SA will mully the Argies. Lets face it, they were lucky against the Jocks.

Hmmm.

Sounds like a plan.

I've already told Mrs R that she will be accompanying me to a public house to watch the football.

If I can find somewhere to get fed nearby in between the two I may be able to wangle a return for the rugby too...

I don't think England could be as bad as that even if they let lasses play!

Don't think we've got a chance against them in the final though, mind you most people said the same about England v Australia. This seems to be a world cup full of surprises.

I didn't think the French had a chance either, especially at 13-0 down near the end of the first half.

The Argies certainly were not lucky against Scotland; they just engaged cruise control and allowed them to snap at their heels a bit near the end . The way the Jocks are playing at the moment they couldn't beat a top class team if they played for 100 years. They were extremely lucky to beat Italy. None of their SIX penalties came from direct pressure.

As for England vs France, France are as inconsistent as ever so we'll just have to see which French team turns up. I still don't quite understand how they beat the All-Greys but one thing for sure is they showed guts. The question is does anyone really expect the FRENCH to show GUTS more than once a century?

Jeff Probyn, who played prop in England's 1991 World Cup final team, said this week he'll be shouting for France to win on Saturday because "they're the only team with a chance of winning the final for the northern hemisphere".

stpid stpid stpid

Most of us think people who support all North East football teams are bonkers but Mr Probyn has just taken that kind of reasoning to a new level! banghead banghead

How the fook would you know when you have no knowledge or experience of salsa.

Lets investigate:

A club full of tidy totty who want you to get hold of them
or
Sitting watching a game that can go on for day without a result.

Hmmm...........

Yes you do. It depends what you've seen. I agree that New York style looks a bit ballroomy to me, I don't get involved in that shite. Cuban style (which I do) is anything but camp.

For example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBVpDS3VIsQ

That a guy called Osbanis doing Rueda (wheel in spanish) What's camp about that?

Think you've been watching too much strictly come dancing.

Listen numbnuts, I agree that its not for everyone particularly when they are bad at it or even more so doing the Dad thing at weddings.

Besides, its good for you. You spend an average of around a couple of hours on the dance floor per night.

Ballroom dancing?

I'd rather watch repeats of Tenko.
