As I'm sure Mr Ripper will concur, these 'Pools Fans' were a pair of arseholes looking for trouble.

That depends if you mean prefering to stand and point up at the opposition fans instead of watching the match and then looking for the nearest steward to abuse is considered to be "looking for trouble" nowadays. confised

To be fair, the first one to be be shot out and led away was being held down by stewards while another repeatedly punched him. Whatever this lad is or isn't that is wrong.

Fully agree with that like.

Although I couldn't see that happening from where I was.

I suggest you get you facts right before slagging off fellow Poolies next time.

The lad in question is not a trouble causer and never has been.

Whats wrong with having banter with the opposition?? its a lot better than sitting there throughout the match thinking of what can be your next "Nothing to about football" thread for the bunker.

RANT OVER back to rivals for me rage

So its ok for him to be held down and punched a dozen times as he lay on the floor?

I also didnt think they were stewards but security men, or does "security" on the back of your bright yellow jacket just mean your a hard steward?

Nothing whatsoever.

Although my definition of banter and yours could well differ, as mine would involve friendly craic maybe with a pint rather than screaming various obscenities and threats at them.

NO!

I certainly wouldn't say so anyways.

One arsehole of a Steward wouldn't even let me in the ground....he then Rugby tackled me whilst screaming for the Police to arrest me!!!!

The Police were very very sensible and told the Steward to be quiet and then let me go....but the Steward still wouldn't let me in the ground!!!!

Looks like they were the same in the ground as outside!!!!

I don't doubt they were over the top and I've recently refused to believe an OTT police arrest which turned out to be the case, nevertheless in this case I seen with my own eyes what a twonk this guy was. That said the steward should have been arrested and charged with assault. Clearly he vastly exceeded his authority which for some reason often happens when you give someone a fluorescent jacket!

That would have been so convincing if it hadn't come from the mouth of Sid James

It was the workie ticket 'female' Head Steward who was causing most of the trouble,
insisting people move out of the 'sterile' area and back to their original seats.
The original seats are easier targets for the Forest fans above.

They were Muttley. Disgraceful. I think the poolies arrested could sue. There may well be evidence.

There was definitely someone recording it on there mobile in front of us and no matter what the guy was doing Mr I they did'nt deserve that. The stewarding/security inside the ground was a joke, little men with pigeon chests revelling in there illuminous jackets total stpid s.

I didn't see the incident...so I can't comment on the lads. Although my mate who works within the secruity sector was at the other end of the stand and did see it. He told me that he doubts the stewards have the correct badges to lay a finger on them and reckons they could have them done for assault. From what I did see when he was being pulled to the home end (which surely was a tad dangerous) it all seemed a bit American wrestling for me.

The stewarding was interesting to say the least. They wouldn't let one of my mates sit next to me even though there was a few empty seats. Then they had some rowdy lads/boys who were kicking up a fuss about not being near each other and they got fed up with their nagging and put them next to me and I was surrounded by the Brady Bunch untill they came up with a cunning plan to sit in the bottom section...and good on them for perseveering.

They checked my ticket a million times as well.

A man stood up during the brief Stand up if you hate Darlow chant and he was warned by a steward. He quite rightly pointed to the Forest stand on the left hand side where 100s of Forest fans were standing and said "what about them?" and got another ticking off. It seemed over the top to me.

The stewarding seemed a bit silly to me and didn't have much common sense.

But before you go, which are the 'nothing to about football' threads, I'd love to read one??
