Right listen up....

As you might have heard there is the possibility of an election being announced for early in November. It has been decided that we will put up a candidate to contest the election and fight against Iain Wright of the 'promotion for Iain Wright at the expense of a Hartlepool Hospital party'. This alleged MP of Hartlepool who has been very quiet on the subject of keeping the hospital open but instead chose to sell out and make noises about transport links to Stockton. He was promptly promoted to a Junior Minister. This was of course coincidental rolfl

The candidate will stand as an Independent and will campaign purely on local issues. If elected he will not vote along party lines instead he will cast his vote for what is best for the people of Hartlepool

An election campaign takes time and money and needs lots of volunteers. If you can offer your services in whatever capacity please add your name below and PM me contact details which will be kept private.

I could have contributed to the campaign at the Walsall match. I turned back on the way out, realising my bladder needed emptying before the long journey back to the metropolis that is now my home. Coming out of the ground was the diminutive Mr W, I resisted the urge to punch him in the face, sorry.

Count me in, and the wife. rolf

No point waiting until it's called.

If you don't start the prep work now and have everything ready in place waiting to go then it won't work.

Same here!

Although one of the biggest things that we can all do is to convince people we know that there is a credible alternative worth voting for which has a chance of beating the current muppet.

I would suggest that in assisting Pools to buy the ground back from the council - for example - you need to have 15 or 16 people willing to fight the council elections in May.
Will get back to you on this.
