....3 or 4 yards offside ( I was bang level with it) and the linesman was ten yards behind play but we got exactly what we deserved. We were very poor and I don't know why Wilson pissed about with formation so much, we'd just started to get on top in the second half when he changed to 5-3-2, and why did Brown play left and Monkhouse right for much of the first half sctatchinghead

The front two were extremely poor Barkers confindence is nil but Walsall were very well organised, workmanlike, but difficult to play against. This isn't the fourth division you can't get complacent against anyone, we started the game with a touch of that when after last week we should have burst out of the blocks.

Just one of those days role on Tuesday night

I also like to see players staying in their usual position, it's what they know/do best, and how their team mates know how to link up with them best. Too much tinkering in the end, and it cost us a point we hardly deserved anyway. It was like the Swindon game all over again but without the goal to get us out of jail.
I would like to see a commanding home performance from us - we've done it away at Luton, Leeds, Port Vale and Orient but at home so far we've only dominated against Oldham.

I still don't get the reasoning behind swapping Liddle for McCunnie. I do like McCunnie in midfield but we seem to lose it a bit if Liddle is moved from there. Maybe it is time to start Clark at right back and push McCunnie into midfield to partner Liddle.

Having watched the replay I don't see how he could have possibly have been 3 or 4 yards offside. It was very tight but it wouldn't surprise me if he was in-line.

The camera angle is from beind play and you don't see Halls position when the balll was played. I 'll stick with what I saw from level and side on
