Hartlepool v Hartlepool

Renamed in memory of John Hawksworth, a stalwart member who passed this day 2nd August 2020. RIP Mr Monkeybutt.

Sadly we must add the name of Kevin Minton, Aka Mr Ripper who passed 30/6/22. Kev was also Mr politically incorrect but a nicer lad you could never meet.

Sports editor, only there because there was no other games, I doubt we will see him at the Vic as he covers the Boro, Sunderland etc. normally.

The Northern Echo Sports Editor is Scott Wilson. Paul Fraser own a PR company called RePhrase who I guess will have been working to promote FC Hartlepool. Paul is regularly at the Vic as he also writes for the Press Assocation and the Non League Paper.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck it is probably a duck!

Got a good chance of promotion, big step up in quality in the league above though.

Now top.
Don't score many but an absolute mint defence.

I can see them going up.

Will they eventually become a threat to Pools support as they progress.
