Does anyone agree that the toss for what end you kick towards should be scrapped? In the league, you play a home game and an away game. Surely the advantage should go to the home team.

It totally narks me when we kick towards the Rink End in the second half. I know it doesn't make too much of a difference in the grand scheme of things, but there you go! rage rage rage

Also, Pools were shocking yesterday. I said to my mate I was with, it seemed like it was a totally windy day the amount of aimless hoofing and passes going astray. Can't afford too many performances like that I reckon.

Or we could just say that cos we are at home we can kick towards the Town End for both halves?

No need for that comment like. I'm not a 12 year old! confised I'm not bothered about having an unfair advantage. Seems like an old fashioned rule to me and i've never understood it.

Does it not make sense to have a fair chance for all teams? I'm sure Liverpool love kicking towards the Kop end in the second half as do all teams. It IS an advantage for the away team as they can disrupt things in this way (otherwise they wouldn't do it).

I'm also sure that the majority of people, given the opportunity would be happy with that rule change.

It's not as simple as kicking towards a specific/favoured end - sometimes things like wind conditions are considered when winning the toss......

I understand all of that.

My point is, the advantage should always go to the home team, making it fair for everyone as they would all get the same treatment.

I'll shut up now. It was clearly taken the wrong way :uhoh:

I understand your point actually. If the home team got the choice over whether to choose ends of kick off, then over the coarse of a season it would even its self out for each team, instead of going on the flip of a coin each week. But in saying that, over the coarse of a season im sure winning a coin toss will even its self out between all the teams.

I agree. It's shite when they're kicking away from the Town End in the second half, especially when we seemingly play better in it
