Red Arrows banned from Olympics

I really do despair at this country.

Organisers of the event say that the Arrows military background might be "offensive" to other countries taking part in the Games. The display team have performed at more than 4000 events worldwide, but the Department of Culture, Media and Sport have deemed the display team "too militaristically British".

Red Arrows pilots were said to be "outraged", as they had hoped to put on a truly world class display for the Games, something which had never been seen before. Being axed from a British-based event for being "too British" is an insult - the Arrows are a symbol of Britain.

The Red Arrows have been excellent ambassadors for British overseas trade, as they display their British-built Hawk aircraft all over the world.

The Arrows performed a short flypast in 2005 when the winning bid was announced, but their flypast at the Games was to have been truly spectacular.

Please please please, tell everyone to STOP buying lottery tickets.

Tell them to give their quid to the lifeboats instead, at least then they'll get summat for their money.

Not if they don't go twatting on at the end of the breakwater or clarting around in the North Sea in a dinghy they won't.

they do the dawlish carnival every year and they're superb to watch.

Britain should withdraw from hosting these games with immediate effect, unless it ceases to call itself Britain. It should be known as ,erm, North Western Europe from now on, as that is much less offensive. The language from now on shall be changed to Esparanto with immediate effect, and all signs, books etc must be re-printed at greta cost to replace the original and very offensive language known as English. All traces of the past must be eradicated without delay, and only then must the country known as North Western Europe be allowed to host the Olympics. Its national anthem must be replaced immediately with lyrics written by politically-correct approved musicians only.
Anybody wishing to aspire to traditional values must cease breathing with immediate effect.
