I think they are entitled to slag the club and Raj off but shouldn’t slag the fans off who do go to matches.

Sorry Jules Raj is a poor owner regardless of who says so. There could be Martians who never visited earth but if they said that Pools need new owners they would be entirely right.

Their are fans of other clubs who say raj singh is a crank and shouldn't be anywhere near a football club are they allowed? If they know why can't fellow poolies not be able to slate him.

We're all invested in the club- otherwise why would we bother to argue about it on here.

When people have been following the club through thin and thinner for 30/ 40/50 years plus (and in particular pre the golden days of the IOR ownership), then they have every right to express their opinions regardless of how many games they've physically been to in recent seasons.

I have so much more respect for them and their genuine opinions/ piss taking than any Johnny Come Lately that was a lapsed borer/ Sunlun or carTOON fan that has recently bought a season ticket.

Experience over the foolishness of youth wins every time in my book- as you've already served a life sentence if you were going regularly pre 2000. Their opinions matter as it's what has been the lifeblood of our club over decades. NOT- this I'm a better fan than you NONSENSE, that comes from certain sections having had a season ticket for the last 3 seasons.

I think we all want the same thing, just coming at it from different angles. I've been going to pools since the midish seventies and seen some pretty grim times, my attitude is, "Ive seen worse". I tend to have an optimistic view on things, I personally find it an easier way to approach it than a head full of thunder clouds and crows.
Im of the opinion Raj has ran his course and should pass the baton on gracefully, leave with a bit of dignity knowing he saved a club and be satisfied he's done his shift.
I like going to watch pools and for me it doesn't go any deeper than that, I still get the same thrill as I did watching Billy Ayre score in the town end many years ago. Pools are my team, always were, always will be.

I’ll make it simple for you….you’re talking through your arse.
If people want to criticise they can criticise.
The average attendee knows no more about the machinations of Pools than an Eskimo hunting for seals.
You just reveal a painful and gullible naivety of the politics of the game.

doubt there is anybody who has never been to the vic who are slagging the club off. they would not be hear or anywhere else if they had not. surely you can slag off relegeons or anything else without partaking of them regularly.

Honestly depends how long you're talking by yonks, 7 years is valid, 9 a bit less so, 10 plus then yeah, that's a bit silly. But even then, can people claim with a straight face they've had their moneys worth over the past decade with Pools? Ten years ago puts us in the latter IOR era, then coxall, Challinor era was BCD....not much to cheer about over a decade.

I would argue they have even more right, because some like me supported the club for 47 years, until Singh came in and destroyed the club, and stopped me from doing something I enjoyed doing for many years. I will admit though, I was getting sick of watching my club get beat week in week out year after year, getting nowhere near winning a title and fielding weakened teams in cup competitions etc, therefore depriving me of seeing Pools play at Wembley or somewhere like Goodison Park in the cup. That wasn't Singh's fault, he was in wrong place at wrong time as far as me jacking it all in, but it was quite clear early into his tenure, things weren't going to improve under him, in fact by this time I was now watching Pools get beat by glorified village teams rather than established football league outfits in what was the old division 4. I want to come back, and under good ownership or fans ownership or even a supporter who wins the lottery and wants to pump most of it into Pools, I will be back, though the longer it goes on, my interest becomes less and less, and once 10 seasons have elapsed, I will probably have stopped posting, so you will get your wish. The fact lapsed supporters like myself do still post, shows I haven't give up on the club yet, surely as a current supporter, you want people like me to return, or do you like many of the current supporters, actually get a hard on about your unwavering loyalty to a lost cause?. I have discovered better things to do on a Saturday afternoon now, watching football at different grounds all over the country, I find it much more enjoyable.

But if you want to cancel or isolate those with a different point of view, different to you own, you crack on, it wouldn't bother me, just further underline and justify why I took myself away in the first place. This sort of behaviour is certainly popular in the UK right now.

have tried that ground hopping thing. its still football but without emotional attachment pools give you. its that i feel what keeps everyone going or still having an interest some way. taking emotion out of it what do pools really have to offer. an ordinary set of players who will not be remembered ran by an unpopular owner who has made more mistakes than my spelling errors. i,d guess now if you pick any team at random we think should be on our fixture list will not have fans anywhere close to being 100% happy.

The thing with emotion, is that when your team loses, as Pools invariably did, it spoils your weekend, whereas with groundhopping, although I usually pick/want one of the teams to win, its not the end of the world if they don't. I have a ST for a local non league club, and watch them midweek or whenever they play at a ground I haven't been to, so obviously I've some emotional attachment to them and want them to win. I love this time of year, when all the fixtures come out for opening rounds of FA Cup, Vase, Trophy etc. Perusing the fixtures and choosing games.
