At this time of year I usually look forward to preparations for yet another new season…but it all seems so downright indifferent ..the lethargy and silence is palpable and it all seems just so bleak.

To be honest we had a pretty average/poor season 24/25 with Joe and Manni up front. Neither of them were outstanding:

The question is - if they're buggering off then can the club replace them with a couple of goal machines?

Joe did well considering his playing with a hernia.

The current frontline n goalkeeper situation is abysmal.

Don't think the FC friendly will be a goal fest like last year.

joe had one good game but in the next two he was invisable. manni needed 5 good chances to just score one or a penalty. there are better than both out there but the biggest question is can pools sign them.

If they both went it will not be the end of the world.

if we were signing both instead of them leaving we,d be hearing how much of a second raters they are and how underwhelming next season will be if thats the best the club can do.

The middle area of the midfield is made out to be world class.
But the wider areas to service the frontline is just as bad.

And we will sign any Tom dick Harry as back up keeper.

It’s ridiculous the amount of pressure being heaped on Miley in the midfield when he’s a very much unknown quantity still
