Hmmm... EFL or Raj's toy football club? What a dilemma for Mani if true.

If Mani decides to sign for a tinpot struggling village side whose only ambition is to retain their L2 for yet another miserable season then good luck to him. He is guaranteed to score goals in he NL for Pools but certainly not necessarily in L2 for Betty's Boys with silent, sub 2k 'crowds' behind him.

Doesn't matter. They're EFL, they're stable and they ain't got Raj.

"Tinpot struggling village side"
The population of Harrogate is around 75000, Hartlepool population is about 90000. Not quite the village you describe.
You must be quite young as I clearly remember frequent sub 2000 crowds at Pools.

Can't see him getting anything better than NL, his goal scoring record before he came to us is pitiful. This is his level imo.
He'll go like many others have before and will in future for the best money.

You get an idea of what 'young' means on The Bunker when you see Pools' new manager is already nicknamed Larry.

The real Larry Grayson has been dead 30 years and hadn't been on the TV for 10 years before that... back in the days when Pools struggled to get 1,400 in for home games, never mind 2,000.

I think this is his level and we are the best club for him, Can still see why he would leave and imo its the owner.

Harrogate also get another £1m in central funding than we do due to them actually being in the football league. It’s all well and good calling them tinpot etc. but they can offer EFL football, better wages due to their league status and are closer to Mani D’s home. Would be surprised if he didn’t go there, unless he’s only being offered a back up role.

They've been through some pretty dire spells and Dads stuck by him, Raj would've pulled the trigger on him multiple times.

Our population will soon surpass 100k due to the welcoming mat on Dover Beach to King's Cross to the paradise of Hartlepool.

I'm guessing none will enter the Vic or a pub to keep the economy ticking over.

Got to put pools crowds into perspective. Teams like Newcastle boro even man u had crowds that you wouldn't believe now. Pools crowds are good for this period in football. Back then our crowds were terrible like a lot of footy clubs.

If pools were taken over by a money bags chairman we would start to realise our real potential, we are on another planet to a Harrogate if roles were reversed.
