The TIMING and WORDING of the HERD statement was superb.

Denouncing and distancing themselves from CM, Puts some considerable pressure on Raj to sell to them.
Otherwise he is aligning him self to CM.

Pretty much agree

But what do we know about the backers of the Herd consortium - how 'clean' are they?
And, also, what about the other members of the CM consortium - are they dodgy gadgies or folk who can control CM and do right by the club?

I dunno. And as we found out with Coxall, we won't know for sometime. But whatever, we need change.....

I think you’re on to something here. We need change, that is for sure, but there will always be some risk with a new owner. I just really, really hope we get a good owner this time. McGregor doesn’t strike me as a sustainable, good option for Pools and we don’t really know about the backing for Shelley. Of the two, I’d take my chances with Shelley because she’s local and has been persistent.
Something needs to happen though, and fast.

Agree Mikey - the PR alone from Herd shows that we have adults in 'the room' and, as you say, she has been persistent.

Whoever takes over will get an immediate cash injection from the fanbase. Season tickets bought, merchandise through the club shop and matchday tickets for the many who have stayed away over the last few seasons because of the current owner.

Reckon the atmosphere and vibe around the club and town could be like it was when DC was in his pomp after we got back in the EFL- before it went pear shaped. Until then we continue dancing in the dark banghead

especially if they can sell the new pools to the fans in a sensible manner and not promising anything that they might not be able to deliver. some will believe anything because they want to, but they,ll be the first to criticise once the newness wares off like its bound to do.
