Hamas put out a statement about Israel blocking Greta Thunberg’s boat from entering Israeli waters.

Hamas has just said this morning the interception of the Madleen is a “flagrant violation of international law.”

Unlike invading a neighbouring country to rape and murder 1200 people I suppose.

There's absolutely no moral high ground for either side to claim.
The fact that what Hamas did cannot be regarded as anything other than horrific, unjustified, barbaric, etc etc
But has the response from Israel been proportionate and within the bounds of international law, let alone humanitarianism. The destruction of Gaza, and occupation, attacks on hospitals and aid shelters, killing of Aid Workers, prevention of the basics such as food and water to displaced civilians, etc etc should be called out too.
Israel has some of the most advanced intelligence and military technology in the world and a more surgical approach to dismantling Hamas could be undertaken.

I hope it's not fueled by that Evil thing called Diesel and pumping out fumes. Also I really hope that none of that aid contains any type of Carbon based items or plastic items coated in Oil substance.

In another lifetime, I did some operations with the Israeli army (2004), joint special operations before getting deployed to Afghanistan.

What pisses me off, is the crowdedness Hamas. Killing Israeli citizens in markets, on buses, in bars or nightclubs and restaurants, that never make it on the BBC, ITV, CNN or Sky news.
I was told by they commanding officer, if you see a busy bus, restaurant, bar etc etc, wait for the next one or go into the empty one as the busy places will be a trigger for them to attack it.

Surely if Greta Thunberg is on board- it's a no brainer to sink it!

The easiest way to get support to invade another country is allow an atrocity of your own, Happens all the time.

As far as i am aware the only country ahead of Israel in Arms manufacture is Russia and the 3rd is Sweden.

I’ve always been impressed by the IDF and at least their leaders have walked the walk. Netanyahu is ex SF and his brother was the only Israeli casualty at Entebee.

But it’s obvious Russia’s equipment is crap and when did Sweden invade anyone, but they take their defence seriously….so maybe numbers count less than quality.

If we lived next to a country where the population voted for leaders whose main aim was the destruction of the UK and the killing of all the British poeople, would we happily co-exist?
When the so-called 'innocents' of Gaza next get a vote, I hope they think about the consequences of their decision. I very much doubt it though!

It looks very much at the moment that Israel is intent on destroying them occupying and governing the remains of Gaza rather than demolishing Hamas.
Having said that one side totally wiping out the other looks like the only way to resolve the situation.
