Taken from the OS

Details of our pre-season fixtures will be released, after all the other clubs have had first dibs, probably around mid July, and will definitely include games against at least 3 Northern League clubs, possibly even one from Northern League 1.

As well as that we are hoping to have the usual marquee home game v either Sunderland or Boro U23s and possibly attract York City reserves to the Vic (subject to them winning the play offs )

Keep an eye on the OS during September for details

Hmmm, change 'the Vic' for Blackhall Meadows or whatever the Skerne flood plain is called these days and you may actually be very near an amazing scoop there!

The Skerne Flood plain- wasn't that the scene of the infamous Worm Holocaust (circa 2001)

sctatchinghead The mighty River Skerne starts near Trimdon and runs southwest to Darlington and the River Tees. Blame the dodgy drainage at Blackhall on something else.

That was Feethams-on-Skerne I believe, a bad day to be a worm as thousands of innocents were sacrificed, drowned in a cesspit of mud and effluent in a failed attempt to make the grass grow. Ugly scenes, not a PG.

It’s unreal….it’s like telling a man in January with two months to live if he’ll want a ticket for the Xmas do.

I see we have so far managed to arrange one game, whilst most other clubs have arranged all of their pre season fixtures, usually in one go, in a structured organised fashion. Pools as usual, will wait until everyone else has had first dibs, then at the last minute will be frantically trying to organise friendlies against whoever is left in the usual unstructured manner.

Pre season is important, I stress this season after season, but our brain dead fanbase just don't seem to get it. Maybe our fanbase is the reason the club is the way it is, just a thought.

Serious question- Are you pissed?

At what point does the fanbase become responsible for the scheduling of pre- season friendlies?

Are you Mr P earson? Maybe you could use some of your influence to get the club sold, instead of posting shite on here!

Ever considered changing your user name to ‘Jack the Ripper’ …then you could rip up all your pre post scribblings on your Mickey Mouse note pad before the toxic vitriol has dried and is posted on the board.
‘Brain dead fan base’ the view of a nobody.

Something tells me there’s something odd here.

Well, speaking as one of the Brain Dead, can I suggest that you and your little gang of personalities form yourselves into a NW Corner Select XI - and we'll let Porter and Boyd fight over the armband.

if we're brain dead it's due to the fact that were locked into a cage and fed no information at all. It's like a new chapter of Crime and Punishment.

No point arranging pre season games if Pools don’t have enough players, they went Portugal with half a team under Hartley.
