....I think most people have reached it already, but suspect it will evolve into a tsunami across the close season and if not by then by the inevitable early season humpings..

How I expect the next couple of months to go if Singh stays..

1. Mani D, Sheron and Grey leave...its unrealistic for us to compete with X, Y, Z team who take them
2. Skippy talks shite during the between season lull about money not being everything and how with this budget we can surprise people
3. The comfortable players re-sign--Ferguson signing is lauded as a coup, Stephenson, Darcy and Mafrazi over-egged as some sort of wonderkids
4. We sign a bunch of players from the lower leagues no one has heard of.....maybe someone on here references Olly Pearce or Jamie Vardy as proof you cant write people off...but deep down we all know
5. We sign one 32+ year old with league experience and an injury record longer than Raj can spit his dummy and its sold as a statement of intent.
6. We are reminded that the non-league doesnt have a transfer window and we are waiting for the League one to close as some of our top targets are holding out for league clubs
7. We find out Mancini has signed for Oldham or Southend....and we know he's going to tear it up
8. Season begins in underwhelming fashion, as we fail to win our first 3 games despite Skippy knocking one out over our expected goals and touches in the right area...

I give it to late Sep/maybe early Oct before Skippy is slung, Raj puts the club up for sale again (with a dig at the Trust thrown in), and the ingrates and wormtongues on 'The Board' talk about steadying the ship and sticking together

Pre season should be a time of renewal when our unrealistic expectations take flight but we don't even have that dimwitted hope anymore. I've never been more depressed about Pools.

until pools do a pre season tour of the wearside league and come away with no wins before the season starts.

The optimistic version if we get sold….
1.Mani,Sharon and Grey leave stil….. as they buy even better players
2. Skippy talks shite…now in charge of Bolawonga FC in the Kangaroo League way out in the outback.
3. The comfortable players sign for Fray Bentos FC……..
4. We sign proper players instead.
5. No more croc signings.
6 . Forget signing windows, irrelevant now.
7. We find out Mancini is at Southend with a Candy Floss pitch.
8. The season starts like a rat up a drainpipe.

We can only dream and…

Remember the pre season tour I think Portugal when Hartley had just been appointed, Pools struggled to put a team together. I watched the game v Hibs who beat Pools, my thoughts were the writing was on the wall all those years ago and we have been on a downward spiral ever since due to poor managerial appointments and the signing of poor quality players.
