You heard it here first (an hour before everyone else)

Personally I thought McCunnie, Boland and Liddle should have made it. sctatchinghead So those that made it ahead of them must have been fooking amazing.

Tree - so even after a 4 - 2 mauling of the League leaders, with our strike force scoring goals, with the much praised Boydy firmly in Nelsons pocket for all the game, Antwi starting to really find his feet, 3rd, thats THIRD, in the league and then 2 of our outstanding players put in team of the week - you would rather point out how crappy that system is rather than applauding efforts and our fantastic start to the season?

I have been reading all the pap on the board re Humpheries is cack, Antwi is cack (at times), Boyd is the Second Coming, and as for Moore and Matty - well just shoot the poor sods.

Give it a break, let the season get a few games under its belt before you start bumping yer gums.

DW, paid to manage the club and pick the team, has got our club into a superb early position, a position that very very few of us would have predicted after 7 games. Playing attractive passing football. Be happy!!

Chill out, get some sunshine, look at the brightside and think before you post.

Right, I'm off to muck out hens ...

hmmm, hen shite ...

Cheers!!

Another person not reading what is written

Humphreys and Monkhouse were nowhere near the best 2 players on the pitch by a mile. How me pointing out that the league teams of the week may aswell be picked at random means im saying im not happy with our start to the season is beyond me. Please wake up or learn to simply read before you write.

Well I wouldn't run off with the idea that they're picked any other way than randomly. They'll look at the results and select a few names from the teams who had the best reports. I doubt there's a league assessor at every match and they all video conference at 5pm.

Back in the pre Coca Cola days I'm sure they used to give a reason for each selection when they announced the list.

Maybe it's not *quite* so random as that. For example each club could be asked to submit the names of their best two players and then they make their selection from those teams with the most impressive performances.

It's just that in Pools' case the job of sending the names in is given to the kit assistant.

I agree totally, but me saying that apparently meant i was knocking our start to the season. banghead

The News of the World team of the week didn't have any of our players in and gave Nelse and Liddle 5 & 6. I know you shouldn't expect from the NOTW but jeez......

It also dedicated it's usual 2 page spread to Leeds U fecking Nited. Someone needs to let them know there are 23 other teams in the division.

Wouldn't waste the moey buying the News of the Screws anyway.. poor excuse for a newspaper..

Another thing don't you possibly think that Humps and Monkey where the best left back and left winger of the week?

It's impossible to say anyway without watching every left back and midfield in the division. It's just a space filler.
