For me the most reliable stand out player has to be.
Tom Parkes

Over the whole season it has to be Parkes who's rarely had a bad game. Cleary is the player that's made the biggest impact though, possibly the best and most consistent winger we've had in my lifetime.

Parkes was excellent again yesterday. Leads by example, unlike some skippers we've had in the recent past.

I agree he leads by example and also should be Captain something I have mentioned all season. He is the most consistent player by far this season. However if you take a good look at the first goal we conceded it was mainly his fault for once. Also talking about yesterday's game the goal scored by Madine was from a much higher level than this league. I don't even think ManiD would have scored in that position. It was in my opinion a goal that only a striker from higher divisions would see never mind convert. Probably better than his super goal at Gateshead for me like. clappp

Parkes for me too. Madine, Mancini and on yesterday's performance even Smith also have a shout but not consistent enough.

To be fair to Parkes, Hazel would do that to most in this division, Do you not think thats why Parkes crunched him, Early 2nd half.

Has to be Parkes for me .... BUT there are signs 2nd half of the season he is slowing down--has to be paired with a quick centre back next year--Mani O should have been given a chance as Sass Davies isn't the answer.

Sass Davies had another decent game Saturday, in fact he's only had 1 bad game to be fair. He got a couple of outstanding, probable goal saving blocks in as a result of having the pace to get into position.

Parkes by a country mile. He would be even better if he had a good 24-29 centre back alongside him, though to be fair, Sass Davies has been okay since he got back into the side, but still think Pools need better alongside Parkes.

no options really if you look at the full season and not just a small part of it. agree about needing better along side him especially on the left.

Thought the biggest error for their goal was Sherron absolutely sold himself leaving a massive gap in front of the defence. But similar to Parkes overall been pretty good all season so the odd lapse is allowed and at this level even expected.
