Well it’s probably been one of pools best performances of the season. Too be honest I’m gutted we didn’t take all 3 points. Cleary absolute class above the rest. How he can’t get in his own team I don’t know

Big difference this level to West Brom's.

That's is a classic Mutters. It reminds me of your crazy sayings / posts 15 years back.

Today I noticed our lass had moved two of her small resin chinese buddha indoor ornaments closer to a dinosaur ( the green one used to advertise coronation street ) figure. I asked her why did you move the Buddhas over to be next to the dinosaur....she said because the dinosaur looked lonely and needed some company. She really meant it though. Different bread to us completely mate. banghead

Call me a cynic but today had Lennie Lawrence written all over it. Selection, Style of play, 1 sub instead of the scattergun approach. More ridged formation

Hate to say it yet again but that's what I thought watching the game.

I liked how he called every Pools player by their names instantly and not their numbers, at least he done his homework

Yes Fensy and managed to stay impartial which seems impossible for all other clubs commentary.

That was like an end of season game yesterday, only came to life in the last 20 minutes or so. Two teams I expect will be right beside each other in the table come the end of the season, around 11-13th position. The defence put in a shift, and Cleary has won me over, but other than that it was like watching paint dry.

Or he just didn't fancy it, especially if he got wind that he might not be starting.

Limbrick said in his post match, that he took ill, how many players have taken ill this season just prior to boarding the team bus? I've heard it said by numerous managers on numerous occasions this season, and although I accept even fit, healthy young footballers get a cold or the shits like the rest of us from time to time, I quite frankly don't believe that this happens as often as it has done this season at Pools.

It seems no matter how well we playing we always gift goals in every single game.

Yep, once upon a time an early away goal was something to cherish, now its met with a shrug of the shoulders as we wait the inevitable equaliser. At least yesterday an Eastleigh winner never followed, it seems that Pools need to score 3 to have any chance of winning most games, and that is hardly likely to happen, with Pools woeful finishing in front of goal.

Fair play to Limbrick, chasing the winner in the closing stages of the game yesterday. I reckon he had no choice though, as Pools haven't the players to defend a lead, therefore going on the attack makes sense, not just to try and win the game, but to stop us conceding, that old best form of defence is attack cliche.

Both sides could have won it towards the end--but its now 7 without a win for Limpy

Shout out to Featherstone for his 'cameo' if he doesnt realize its time to retire after that he never will

all old cameo,s fetch less than they used to do.

well it worked when most expected a defeat so it can be seen as a plus for once.

think all that started to happen last season to become a near weekly occurance on long trips. its just a job to them like when we through a sicky at work when we fancied it more.
