Good to get some updates at least---better than expected though my expectations were low.

It doesn't bode well for the future when we have Burnsey telling us how great the new management team are and how well run that side of the club is. Stinks yet again of more and more bullshit. If Raj and Burnsey could sell this bullshit we would make millions overnight.

If this club is up for sale you could have fooled me……obviously not desperate to sell going by the lack of anything happening…….. the idea of anyone paying over the odds for the club is odd, especially as the club doesn’t own the ground….so what is being sold….?

It feels like he's hanging on for the redevelopment of the whole area when the new gym opens. Pools own some land and he could cash in quite nicely We'll struggle through until 2027 and then see.

I am probably a million miles away with this guess but if "BIG " if Gibson purchased the clock garage ( main offices and car park behind back ) in the 90s and did not just lease it from the owners that could possibly be the land you refer to 27. sctatchinghead I know for certain he obtained that quite a while after taking control of the club but was it purchased directly from the garage owner or did he persuade the council to purchase it and just increase the full ground rental. sctatchinghead

Pools only own the floodlights, dugouts, goalposts etc, oh and a playing squad,if they owned any land IOR would have looked at doing something with it.

We are tenants, full stop…even if the land that is the old garage site is separate it’s hardly gonna set the property markets on fire.

Interesting answers. Sounds like we’re top of the league and coining it in. Is Comical Ali on the board?
The most telling thing is what wasn’t answered, basically anything to do with ambition and future plans. Doesn’t seem anyone has really thought much beyond the end of the season.
The bit about the youth set up, to give some credit, was positive.
And fair play to the rep from the trust for actually having the bollocks to tell Raj to his face what fans think. No mention of if he had any other back up but you’d hope there would be others who are equally dismayed about the current state of the club.
Oh yeah, and the bit about players getting managers sacked!? What a let off for the likes of Sarll and Hartley, managers who should never been appointed and players who can try all they want but just aren’t good enough for the league.

There's obviously no love lost between the Trust and Raj.
Some reasonable questions but to me quite a few could have been summarised into 1 or 2 - eg the ones about the state of the pitch and ground.
Also some that would never have got an answer- eg the ones about sale price or budgets.
Not divulging any plan beyond the end of the season is a bit concerning given that Raj has only committed to funding us up to the end of June. On the plus side, why keep developing the academy and saying it has a firm future if he's going to pull the plug? Also why sign players if he's going to pull the plug, especially paying a fee in some cases, and why would players sign if they didn't think the club had a future?
Can't really see the chasm between supporters and owner closing any time soon.

Some good points PTID. For me, if I were the trust though, I wouldn’t be particularly bothered about the chasm you mention - only way it gets closed is if they suck up to Raj, as others do but that’s absolutely not what’s needed. Fans are giving their opinion by not turning up, as many have said here before, and there are good reasons for that. This was a real opportunity for the club to make a statement about the future and they got no where near it.
Got to be fair and give credit for some things that are happening but I’m none the wiser as to where the club is heading and importantly knowing what debt is hanging over the club.

its like a marriage thats gone so far down the pan that nothing or nobody will ever resolve the differences. nothing will ever change till raj goes or the trust packs in.

I suspect there are no ‘future plans’ or even a future at this rate, but just hanging around going through the motions.

Buying and signing players does suggest there's a plan for the future, as does the statement about the academy going forward. No flesh on the bones though and that's not good for supporters. Having said that we've never been held in much regard by the club throughout Raj's tenure.

feel being in a battle to avoid the drop might be more interesting than just fullfilling fixtures stuck in mid table season after season. sometimes reaching rock bottom can turn things around as we have not reached that just yet even if some think we have.

Nowhere near rock bottom 100%.
Unfortunately
No point in pretending or hopeing any longer under this joke clueless boardroom.

Ye it's them lot who call the shots not our brilliant fan base who do not deserve this shit.

Very rarely do fans of any club get what they feel they deserve though.
