I am deffo going as i think Pools will bounce back...........really!
2-1 win with 5000 ish crowd.
The players will need some unconditional support but if they score first its a 1-4 loss for me.

4-1 York--their fans taking the piss at the Vic, while Limpdick talks about 'that's the standard we aspire to' / they have spent X on one player etc---I cant fault the lads commitment

its too late for the game to make any real significance to the season or the club. actually it would be even more annoying if everyone played out of their skins, showed some extra skill and we beat them. why haven,t they done that before would be the real legitamate question to ask.

Most likely outcome is they win 2-0
Without breaking a sweat but it does have the potential to be an absolute dicking

best hope we have got is they have got into a sticky patch of form losing at barnet and coming back from two early goals to draw with halifax who i guess ended up defending their early 2 goal lead.

Their form, by their standard, is misfiring at present.
It’s all turned into a comedy of horrors for us though
With football you have to speculate to accumulate..in our case, it’s more of a mass debate on where we’re going wrong … , brief pleasure after big build up and down to earth. sadx

getting to the point of that there are getting less and less games left to provide us with a real shock result of the season in our favour.

Expecting a hammering.

Chaos and damage in The Rink End

Protests along Clarence Road - stopping Lennie for getting home in time for his evening nap

The Rat Race gets smashed up, but nobody notices

Doomed

Knowing Pools it'll either be a 2-1 win for Pools or a 5 nil hammering.

not going to predict a pools win as i never do. however i feel more confident on getting a result against them than somebody like maidenhead or boston who will quickly drag us down to there level. if the playerscannot get excited about a home game against york and turn it on the quicker they leave the club the better.

It will change to avoiding division 6 from August.

Desmond 2-2 for me- Cleary & Madine with the goals

Crowd 5335

950 Yorkies (or however many the Rink End now holds)

Be really surprised if Pools have a home following of 4385 after the pure dross and the fact the season is well and truly over already. Much more likely our players will be ringing Spanish hotels requesting a sunbed complete with towel ahead of the Germans.

Reckon a fair few fans will reckon.
This fixture will be the last game for atmosphere.
So a decent turn out to say goodbye Vic before it gets turned into a library. :angry-tappingfoot:

Back in 84 we were driving back into town from Stockton and the two lads were under 5 sat in the back, and noticed while checking on them in the mirror that a car with four blokes in was stuck on my tail, so I turned up Truro they followed, along Catcote Road, they followed, turned down Rossmere Way to rejoin Stockton Road…in fact they followed me right to our house in Foggy Furze.
So I get out of the car and the four blokes get out….uhoh….then one of them asked me where Pools ground was… we were playing at home obviously …phew..so asked them why they followed me in particular…..turns out I’d bought a car two months earlier ….…with a York number plate.

Like Mads but he must of thought that game was a walking football game.
Very rarely see him running last few games.

Is he still carrying his previous injury.

I'm sure him Grey n MannyD are all out of contract.

Gunna be an interesting retained list for sure especially with no parachute dosh n ST sales presumingly Takeing a hit.

I’m still waiting for someone to claim the game as a ‘moral victory’ because we got a brilliant 1-0 defeat when we expected something worse.
