Manager for me, look at the difference Howe has made at Newcastle, Moyes back at Everton, Nuno at Forest, the present manager at York for examples.

Pools don’t have the funds for the calibre of first 3, at our level every manager is a gamble as most have been sacked from their previous employer. Pools got lucky with Cooper first time round, no managerial experience in the English leagues and he had been sacked from his club in Scotland. Challinor got us back into the league but as soon as Stockport came along irrespective of what Pools could have offered him he was off.
The current coach has been sacked from his previous employer so another gamble, let’s hope we are on to where for once.

 We will need a new owner to get the good manager.
Enuf evidence their from Darlo n Pools previous managers.
DC broke that mould only once.

But will be over the moon with Sing furthering his career upwards due to trying to keep him on the cheap.

Yas know I'm correct even if ya disagree.
Work that one out.
sctatchinghead

I doubt you'd get the latter without the former though at present. I think the former is the most important, the latter then follows.

He pissed off the best manager we had for years so no doubt if we found another one by a miracle he would do the same. Raj Singh has had about 1 good manager in 20 at his time at darlo and Pools, we are desperate for a half decent chairman, because this last week is just becoming the norm now.

Every game now is just becoming rinse, repeat. Wondering how long I keep my £25 subscription going.

true. even in worse seasons there was at least one game to remember at the vic. this season no matter what the result has been they have all merged into one.

After every game I've been saying...that's the worst Pools game I've ever seen....then the next game comes along.

We ain't bottomed our yet.
This team looks like Liverpool compared to next season.
Don't expect Parkes n Co. to work miracles.

The whole club needs a clear out but it must start at the top. I thank Raj for keeping the club alive in that dark time but i wish he would go...........but the alternative to him could be worse if he sells badly.
Remember.

Ive been saying this for months--combination of lower funding and awful decisions on who is on 2 year contracts.....Charman, Sloggett, Campbell, Hunter etc and our team will look absolutely horrific next year--won't be the chairmans fault though.

But if he never sells the club because 'what if it's another Coxall' we'll be stuck here forever. Currently we're in the same position (minus Raj not being a Coxall-like criminal) as, like Blackledge, he can just decide he wants out and then we're facing down admin. If he doesn't decide this then the debt he's owed will continue to rack up along with the asking price of the club, and the team on the pitch will stagnate until he hit's lucky with another manager. The likelihood of the DC-like saviour coming in dwindles every time we sack another manager because which semi-successful manager would want to come here to join the ever increasing list of managerial casualties.

Yes the change of an owner is a gamble thats why a consortium with known trustworthy members is the best option.
