Yes, think he'd do better in a big un and little un attack though. Thought it would be all about long ball and headers when he arrived but he's a skilful player on the ground too, very good at picking a pass.

Absolutely. Joe is ideal when you've got a skillful big lad up front. He can set them up or he can go himself and the defenders don't know which it will be. Just look at how Mannies gone off the boil since Joe had his operation.

did not see the game but for me even before yesterday he seems to have lost his confidence after that spell out of the side this season. you do not become a bad player overnight but can lose your confidence quickly doing things.

It's been very noticeable in recent home games that he gives opposition left wingers who hug the touchline the freedom of the park out of possession. It's a risky tactic that the fans don't like but the management seem to tolerate.

think i have seen all louis,s games and he has played well in them all apart from two. at oldham last year and one at the vic where he made a mistake on seeing the ball out for a player to put a cross in to score. wish you could say the same for our regular full backs this season.

fear of being stretched with gaps down the middle possibly. well this has certainly happened with central defenders having a lack of pace.
