Yeh I noticed they are doing well lately. Think it's 8 games unbeaten in 3 competitions. But if we are to take the chance of playoffs seriously we have to win simple.

I am sure we were saying that about the Braintree fixture and we came within a minute of losing. Lennie has stepped down but I dont feel particularly optimistic. We might manage a 1-1 draw but I suspect a 2-0 loss is more likely.

Just listened to Stellos shit mail podcast and his ambition levels are a disgrace.
Everything of why we are so shit.

Will be happy with a draw at Sutton.
Then 7pts from the 3 home games.

Which in his deluded brain gets us right back amongst the play off mix.

Try 12 pts you absolute crank.

Surprised Sutton are so low down the table, but a team I'd fancy to make a late push for the play offs, so if that is going to happen they'll be expecting to beat Pools.

On the flipside, Pools always seem to deliver, when it gets to that stage, where everyone is taking the piss out of them and writing them off, so they might win, then no doubt they'd go on to draw the first of the 3 home games.

New manager bounce 3-2 victory
Madine, Cleary and Miley with the goals

At least we are playing them on a proper pitch and not that plastic shit they exploited, the year they won the league.

6-1 win for us, Campbell 2, Fergy, and a Charman hat trick, Mani to score an own goal to end his drought.

A 2-2 draw followed by another draw with Tamworth, a win against Maidenhead and yet another draw vs Alty. Not being optimistic or pessimistic, simply realistic.

You've got it right up to half time, same second half so 13-2 to us.

Trying to tag the new manager with a schoolboy nickname before he's even had his first game in charge is feckin' pathetic Loyal.

Mr. Burns was funny because everybody could see Len's resemblance to a certain cartoon character - but it takes a sense of humour to come up with something clever.

I reckon if Cleary plays we win at Sutton. He mega impressed me against Braintree and he could well be the " Golden Ticket " to the playoffs and beyond. Also reckon the lad from Harrogate will become a very good player very very soon. These two lads can destroy any and I mean any team at this level.

i,d imagine he has heard it all before from the age of 10 in the playground. one thing about kids was they were able to make nicknames from nothing never mind something that stood out. wonder though if his wife is called fanny.

4-0 defeat will put to bed all this nonsense about getting into the play offs. If there was a chance of us getting in do you think Lawrence would have stepped aside.

Maybe he didn't have the final say? Raj and Hignett were thick as thieves in the beginning, but that didn't save Higgie from the sack.

Lawrence's last couple of games in charge showed that he had lost the plot - packing the team with defensive midfielders to play Barnet and then having just Campbell and Feaths in the middle to try to force a win at Braintree. It was all very reminiscent of Sarll's last games in charge. Sarll finished up not having a clue what his best team was and neither in the end did Lawrence.

Most successful teams have a system that they stick with through thick and thin, and 22 players who know exactly what their roles are when they come into the side. Challinor did it for Pools with his 5-3-2 and still does AFAIK.

Hope Limbrick knows how he wants his side to play - and that Lennie keeps his gob shut.
