Lawrence's last couple of games in charge showed that he had lost the plot - packing the team with defensive midfielders to play Barnet and then having just Campbell and Feaths in the middle to try to force a win at Braintree. It was all very reminiscent of Sarll's last games in charge. Sarll finished up not having a clue what his best team was and neither in the end did Lawrence.

Most successful teams have a system that they stick with through thick and thin, and 22 players who know exactly what their roles are when they come into the side. Challinor did it for Pools with his 5-3-2 and still does AFAIK.

Hope Limbrick knows how he wants his side to play - and that Lennie keeps his gob shut.
