You got it right Snowy both a very generous owner and has been involved for many years and also a good manager. Last nights gate was about the usual for a mid week game, if you watch their manager on after the game the he was moaning about the size of the gates. They still attract some very good players from lower down the pyramid and youngsters released by the London teams.

Aye. The the old location, location, location advantage…the rumours of Arctic buffalo, polar bears and glaciers must put most players off entering this fan North…

;ike it or not the SE is now the hotbed of non league football where players can move yearly from one club to another without moving house. how many would move their family hundreds of miles away unless we paid stupid wages to them. it might be good to have a local club for local players if we had a catchment area like barnet have.

I think you’re in the wrong topic, but very interesting points..LL is so laid back he must be staring at the clouds…..for any manager to be so naive as to think the fans will tolerate acceptance of defeat by certain clubs is howling at the moon.
Fans expect effort at least and a will to try and win every match regardless of the opposition…..if you don’t believe in aiming for the stars you’re in the wrong game… :angry-tappingfoot:

I only mentioned it because it was a good post that should have been in the topic it deserved to be in.

The Irishman gets a bit mental on/off the pitch side, Some call it passion.

I didn't even realise they played outside of Barnet! Never been well supported but that probably doesn't help.
