Last seasons officials were worse, Mike Pike, the one at Stockport etc...

So far the incidents that stand out...
Obviously the Leeds was it, wasn't it over-the-line incident and the handball incident.
Yesterday the was it was it, wasn't it out for a throw in incident, the penalty not given incident etc
The Scunthorpe not given penalty incident when Moore was booked for diving.
Luton's goal when Boland was hacked down and Luton's goal that didn't cross the line.

Was it Barker or Boland that got clattered before the first Luton goal? I could have sworn it was Boland but it was quite sunny and I was squinting a bit.

i don't think that brown is a diver his reaction told me that he really believed he was hard done by the ref, browny was robbed of a goal scoring oppurtunity,

If it wasn't a foul how come we didn't get a corner then, to me there looked to be some contact between the players

If it wasn't a foul, the Ref should of booked Brownie for diving

It wasn't a dive but it wasn't a penalty. There was contact but not enough to warrant a penalty.

Goalscoring opportunity? Would have been one hell of a goal!

From my seat in the Cyril Knowles I thought Brownie had had a bit of a meal of it and wasn't surprised it wasn't given BUT I have since spoken to someone who was bang in line with it in the Town End who said it was a stonewaller.

James Brown was apparently adamant after the match that he was fouled as well, if you had got away with a dive you wouldn't do that, you more likely want to brush the incident under the carpet.

or you swear blind it was a foul so people don't think you're a cheat?

If it had been the other way round and the ref had given Swindon a penalty, I bet your mate in the town end would have been swearing it was never a penalty either....because it wasn't!

He could have easily stayed on his feet but he knew he'd struggle to get a cross in so went down IMO.

I agree, as I said I didn't think it was a penalty it just didn't look right.

From this picture he certainly did get his ankles clipped. It looked like a penna to me. Not a massive foul but a foul none the less.

I didn't think Brownie cheated. I never said but we all know you like to dramatise things, but when you protest too hard about something it's often because you know you're in the wrong and thats what Brownie did.

'If the same had happened at the other end....it would have been a penner......it always is'

We get our fair share of dodgy decisions going our way too, there was a blatant handball earlier in the season in the box (Sheff Wed away I think) and that was given.

I wouldn't applaud any Pools player that ever cheated, regardless of what happened at Cardiff. Not because I am whiter than white but purely because it defeats the whole point of going to watch football.

I can't see how that picture shows he got his ankle clipped. If I thought he'd got his ankles clipped then I'd have definitely thought it was a penalty.

To me, that picture just shows a 100% vertical footballer already thinking about hitting the deck because he has lost control of the ball. Contact or no contact, I think Brownie could have done a better job to stay on his feet.

That photo clearly shows nothinig other than that the myth circulated on here last week regarding Browny matching his boots to the strip we're wearing to be total bolox.
