I suggested to my nephew (7) that I would make him a boagy. He didn’t seem impressed in fact he appeared slightly disgusted.

Kids today eh!

How's about asking him if he wants a 'Riggy-Up'??

I'm sure there was a teacher at Dyke House called Mr Boagy. I believe he taught P.E. Maybe Mutley will confirm this?

We had boagys when we were young 'uns. 4 wheels, a bit of string for steering and no brakes. If you were going too fast, like on the Watch Bank at Trimdon, the best plan was to fall off to one side :laugh:

I knew someone called Boagey…mind it was in the Juniors…..and he was in my class…always good for a dare…wonder if he survived…
