2-1 loss to Brighton.
Is the domination coming to an end with some oldish players in their autumn years?

I wonder are the legal issues affecting performances?
It feels something is not right.

From his recent interviews he looks clueless. When asked what he would do he said the players didn’t need to be told. In words to that affect. Liverpool tortured them, high press , quick passing, not letting city get in to any rhythm. Yes City has injuries but the team are getting old. He has a reputation of one of the greatest managers. But managed with loads of money behind him. Not like Ferguson bringing academy players through or Cloughy winning the European cup with unfashionable Nottingham Forest

he typifies the top clubs in the premier league just the same as the fans of their near neighbours. just cannot take defeats which shows the average manager from good ones who can turn things around. we,d be walking this league with anybody in change who had a blank cheque book instead of a banketly blank one.

They simply bought success.......probably in a way against financial fair play.

The time to strengthen/freshen teams is when they are successful. They did not!

That’s how football works at the top level…in fact that’s how it’s always worked since the 1960’s.

It didn't work for Man Utd for many years until Fergus came along.

The finance is the foundation…the human factor cannot be guaranteed which is the weak link…but you have to have the money in the first place to be there.

remember a liverpool manager after they splashed out on a new player being asked what there next move will be. reply was looking for a future replacement for the player they were on about.

Yet another defeat. As a team they look lost and it is so clear that age has caught up with a few.
Even the pundits on TNT were talking about the "behind the scenes issue" ie breaking financial fair play rules and the effect that is happening on the team.
Bad time to be a city fan after all the success.
Will Pools be playing at the Etihad soon?

yes, there is a big difference i feel to those who supported them back in the 2nd and even 3rd tier at maine road to the new ones who are only on hire to them who will be looking for a new club shortly. charity shops will be full of city gear shortly including players.

2-0 down to Villa.
The defence looks like they are not trying.

Getting funny now.

There must be something amiss back stage re the court case. The players seem unable to play properly, even on the vast wages they get, they can’t get motivated, which makes me feel there’s something secret about to reveal.

I heard relegation to the Championship. It'll spare a few people's blushes if they win nowt this season.

one thing for sure is their fans will desert them a lot quicker than we would.

Both City and United have imploded.
Lets hope the true "hotbed of football" emerges to replace them.

I hope what you heard is correct, I put a bet on them to be relegated before the season started :)
