According to the official website our next match is away to York. I have a bad feeling about this one and predict we will lose out in a high scoring game.

Surely as a minimum, it should be someone's job to keep at least the basics on the website up to date??

It went to the dogs years ago when Mark Simpson got made redundant and he never got a penny.

Didn't know about him not getting a penny of redundancy money from Raj, that's a disgrace.

I enjoy watching highlights of Spenny's games on their OS. Simmo does the live commentaries for the club and even the post-match interviews for Radio Tees!

Brad James is doing well for them in goal - surely he's better than NLN level?

That’s the position we need strengthening next.

they are so rare now that if they find one good they should be signed today and one of our current 3 used as a bench warmer only with a p45 for the other 2.

Happened during covid. He got replaced by the man child chandy on a 'volunteer' basis and never received a penny from raj.

There are laws that apply to redundancy, so I'd be careful of accusing any employer of flouting those laws or even implying it. I would hope that any such accusations could be backed up by evidence. We don't want a flotilla of legal battleships floating into our harbour do we ????

The laws only apply if the person is prepared to challenge it, currently you can only contest unfair dismissal if you have been employed for more than 2 years. Labour plan to reduce this from day one but first and foremost you require some to fight your case then when future employers view your CV would they be reluctant to employ you knowing you took your previous employer to a tribunal ?

and not all who take a firm to a tribunal are telling the truth or totally innocent either. a lot of it is about saving face with many on their side as it feels a bit of a david v doliath situation and want to see some big organisation getting an eggy face.

It doesn't matter who it was or how many, the accusations have to be accurate to prevent possible retaliation. If you have absolute proof then fine. All I'm interested in is the integrity of the bunker and without sight of definite proof my stance has to be in favour of that. If you are correct then it is fair to assume the club would be taken to court over it. Have they been taken to court and if not, then why not.

It was a joke Derwent  I unfortunately have been to three myself as the employer. I won two and lost one because the employee was one hell of a bullshitter and they fell for his bullshit hook line and sinker. The most prepared can lose when a salesman extraordinaire is in the dock.
