Saw a news item about A pub down South called the ‘Midget’….it’s named after the iconic MG Midget sports car but is to have it’s name changed to the ‘ Roaring Raindrop’ because a woman who who heard about’s named organised a campaign to change the name because she found it offensive….yet has never ever even visited the pub….. which is in Midget Close
This idea of conceding to 5he easily offended is getting out of control.
Will I need to get my ‘Midget Gems’ off a dealer in future.

So taking it to the extreme those owners of that classic car icon will need to have them rebadged as MG Roaring Rainbows too?

the obvious one was the bristol statue. many have been defaced with paint. nobody mentions the ancestors of these people who have had monuments defaced as they,ll be equally and with reasons to be concerned than a stupid wench who has no knowledge of history of a car marque.
