Unfortunately Pools always happy to give a helping hand to struggling opposition. Eastleigh are 7 games without a win, we seem to regularly play teams who are on a high like York or on a low and desperate to stop the rot like Eastleigh. 1-2 defeat and more fan flak heading Raj Singh’s way I suspect.

Can we win our next 4 games?.

Or take a minimum of 10 pts.

The league table tells us we need to.

lets get these new signings in from the start and a few others

Bondswell for Ferguson (been undroppable far too long)
Lua Lua for Charman
Mancini for Campbell
Mani O for Gash-Davies

And tell Grey he is in the last chance saloon as well!

Prediction none of the above will start and we'll end up with a bland 1-1 draw as the slow march to nowhere continues

Largely agree Loyal other than Grey is our best player being royally buggered about. Play to his strengths rather than using him as a utility player. He could go to league two or even one and look unbelievable in a better team that doesn’t take him for granted. Honestly think he has been too accommodating to his own detriment.

On the fence about Ferguson, he's been better recently but still not back to his old levels. Charman was excellent last week so shouldn't be dropped, maybe swap him and Grey around? Mancini definitely deserves a start. Paul McCallum would have a field day against Mani O so if you're swapping out Sass-Davies (which probably gives off the wrong impression after 1 mistake) then it should be for Waterfall (slim pickings).

How does Mancini deserve a start apart from odd flashes he hasn’t had a good game since he came back after injury. Personally first change I would like to see is goalkeeper.

He changed the game at Boston and against Sutton. He also hasn't started since we changed from hoofball so why not give him a chance? Campbell's pressing is good but he hasn't done a lot attacking wise. Mancini is a perfectly good replacement (if he can show some of what he did last season and in flashes this season), worst that can happen is he comes off after 60 mins having not done a lot.

Mancini is the best technical player at the club and its not particularly close--he gives the ball away a bit as he almost never just takes the safe option--if he is fit enough he should be starting and the more technical players should be close to him (Mani D, Manthurin)---him passing to Charman who then puts his head down and 'tries his best' / runs in a straight line with it is a lot less effective than him playing and moving with the others I mentioned.

its not difficult, get the better players close enough to each other to play off each other.

As for the keeper, I haven't seen anything to suggest he isn;t the best of an average bunch

exactly. you do not know things till you try them. doubt there will be changes to the starting line up as i feel LL has wrote the york game off once it was over and is concentrating on today and the future. possibly one or two are having their last chance to shine today and hoping for a repeat of the aldershot game.

keep the stupid fouls out and the corners to give mccallum less chances from set pieces. he,s hardly going to hurt us much on the build up but quigley is a bigger threat with his hold up play.

surely everyone on the coaching staff know this but is his body capable of starting a game to last into the second half. its more or less a choice between him and chapman but feel mancini makes the better sub of the two and chapman looks more involved as a starter than he does coming on as a sub where for me he just makes the numbers up.

I agree, Joe has not been used properly this season. He should be scoring goals upfront with Mani D.

4-2 win today!
