As you will see he was at Brentford, Thing is Brentford were in Division 2 at the time, Not the Prem Lge.

He probably thinks we are so far ‘up north’ that were as thick as pig shit about goings on in that there London…..
At times it feels we’re part of some bizarre experiment to test out his theory of football, as he think's it should be played.
We can’t afford to humour the bloke anymore, ship him out.

"thick as pig shit" AKA TAPS

Oh let people feel sorry for me because I'm not man enough to take a little bit of criticism.
Ya know we're the train station back to bullshiters city is.
Do One.

will he drop manny d from the squad for scoring a hat trick something he thinks should be banned from the game. like fans i imagine the players got more out of a win like that than a 1 nil grind out.

Surely can,t be that thick to drop him, Mind you he could rest him.

Listened to his latest offering and he honestly did sound like he was going to cry!

Little sympathy really - he was giving it the big one only a couple of weeks ago- saying that he would rather be criticised than the team, as he could take it.

Then last week he calls anyone who disagrees with him a 'clever dick'. And all this despite having the best squad of players we've had in years- yet clearly lacks the ability and nous to get the best out of them.

If Uncle Darren wants to stay - he needs to drop the Billy Bullshit act, and be a bit more humble. Whilst giving us the attacking football (particularly at home- in our Manor) that we want given the players at his disposal. After all most of us lifers have forgotten more than he actually knows.

What is acceptable at Dads n Lads clubs like Stevenage, Yeovil & Woking (all relatively affluent areas), does NOT wash with us Poolies.
It's means a hell of a lot more. Football in the North East, is almost a religion - so give us what we want, show us some respect and you'll be fine.

Alternatively continue with the bullshit and disrespecting the fanbase and you will be run out of town - the choice is yours, Uncle Darren

If it wasn’t Brackley and a potential opportunity to look at a couple others, he would play the starting second half team.

He did after we improved significantly at Boston, and his post match presser after Saturday he says the issue is that we have seen this before where the second half is a lot better, he starts the same team and then play terribly again in the first half of the next. In fairness to him, we have seen a level of inconsistency since we’ve been back in the NL, no matter the combination of players - pools can be brilliant and shite at equal measure week to week. We still conceded THREE goals at home.

The starting XI on Saturday also didn’t shock me - he was happy with the performance at Forest Green and he has always said that he will play whichever combinations that provide the best product. He wasn’t happy with the product of Grey and Mani D after Rochdale, so scrapped them. The second half on Saturday was like Pools with the shackles off, though. Another Darren Sarll’ism is to say whether the performance ‘felt like a Darren Sarll performance’ but it didn’t - it felt more like a KP footballing performance as we moved the ball and created chances.

I don’t think Darren Sarll is the right man for the Pools job but can take his points re turning up and doing his best to support his family. I was in the CK and there was a fair bit of boo’ing and mud slinging but nothing I could see was beyond anything we’ve seen before. Of course, it’ll be a bit different at Stevenage, Yeovil and Woking. He’s not going to be making much from this gig and if he is sacked, he’s not going to have many more places to go from there. A perilous and stress inducing situation for any working person to be a knife edge away from unemployment. The issue is that the Woking fans have warned of this attitude and behaviour from Uncle Darren so it makes it harder to feel sorry for him.

One of the things that stood out to me early on was when he was referring to the players like children. ‘If they’ve been good boys’ was something he said about a good performance or a win, because the alternative was they would be in a lot of trouble. I can’t see this resonating with 18 professional footballers. It felt very David Brent. In the same way referring to yourself in the third person as Uncle Darren, and saying you wanted the players to care for him as he would care for them. Along with some stuff about being sacrificial to the cause and teamship - I can see how it can go from very good to very bad quite quickly

Not going to change 1 bit though is he, As you say we were warned by other fans, And they are stiil going on about him on other forums.
Unfortunately i understand exactly what you are saying above, But HE knows best, As we will hear in his pre match interview.

Just watched the Mails podcast with Robbie Stelling.
And he asked Sarly during last week.
Is this Sutton game a must win game?

And unbelievably he replied NO.

He doesn't help himself.
That answer just shows he's the wrong man for the job.
FFS.

its getting closer to the time that all games are to be seen as must win ones if we are going to get the season we expected. only a football manager would come out with that and seriously doubt he would not be the only one saying the same. if the fans said the colour was blue they,d discribe it as another colour for reasons i can never fathom. only challinor was a manager whose comments i have agreed with.

If we were in the position we hoped to be or expected to be in with the squad at his disposal this would of been a rotational game to give players game time coming into a team with positive vibes. Unfortunately every game now becomes a. Must win sarll game to save his own skin. At the moment it seems as if it's all about him. So disappointing

NO disrespect to other NLge clubs.
But Snarll has us at the same level as Woking,Yeovil Etc
Did he not say when appointed he was aiming to make the playoffs, or there abouts.

He just does not get it, And never will.

Support drops off.
Just up the prices to get same income.
Hope for an FA Cup run.
Make out for the FA Trophy is like the European Cup..

Maybe we don't want to pay Efl wages any more because that played a part in our Relegation even after Cup runs.

But that word Debt pops up when we go into shit mode.
Then it's least we got a division 5 club
And be careful what you wish for.
That old chestnut Hey :violin:

we have said this before though with other managers but there are always at least 4 worse than us. its not something we should be proud of or the reason we play games and support.
