I usually can't stand the bloke but he's been the only one to call these people out on their ineptitude.

Why are the tories even sending these people to be interviewed? It's obvious they're ill prepared. Do they even care? Or will it get shouted down by bots on social media as fake news, or Morgan's a bully?

They genuinely don't care. Most of them will have private health care. Be like one of us going on there to talk about fox hunting or the Henley Regatta.

Private health care is next to useless in a pandemic; the private sector has very little ICU capacity.

Was talking bout their attitude to the NHS in general. A service used by ordinary people an staffed by immigrants . A bit like the state education system or the criminal justice system, its a thing their wealth protects them from.

My view on this is that Morgan is just a product of our political system; the more that politicians simply don't answer questions, the more the interviewer is likely to either become docile or challenge the politician. It's all well and good for those who say, 'let the politician answer the question', but when they routinely fail to do so, what's left for the interviewer? It's either 'play the game' and have a bland interview where the politician dishes out slogans, or it's go into attack mode to let them know you're unhappy. Either way, it's a pretty low level of political debate. But I don't think the blame lies with individual journalists; it's more systemic than that.

What happened to Jeremy Paxman? From the little I saw of him, he didn't let much bullshit through.
