can't disagree, it's swings and roundabouts, and a game of two halves each of 45 minutes plus stoppage time. rolf

bloody tremendous as far as I'm concerned, especially given the fixtures we've had.we've played a lot of the pre season favourites.Add to that competition for places and goals being shared around.
I think we'll know a lot more about this side by the end of november as the fixtures after swansea are against sides that haven't had great starts.

Fixtures wise we've had a very tough start as well, I bet not many teams have been to Elland Road and The City Ground already. I wouldn't say we've played any of the so called weaker teams yet.

And on top of that we've played two Championship sides, one of whom we won against away and lost narrowly to the other in extra time, and a team doing well at the top of League 2.

All in all it's shaping up nicely.

It's a superb start, I'm delighted. If he starts Fridays starting XI every week (with possibly Monky in too) we'll finish top 6 IMO. Otherwise it'll be top 10.

Another easy fixture next week away at league leaders Swansea

November on paper should be a good month with the likes of Milwall, Bournemouth, and Gillingham to play.

There isn't an easy game in this league, Port Vale possibly apart. Not Macclesfields, Chesters, Darlington's et al.

To be in the position we are underlines one thing for me because we have not have that great a start; any of the top 15 can be in the auto spots come May.

Incidentally; we are every bit as good as Forest and almost as good as Leeds.

If we can get over our early nerves when playing in front of crowds over 10k, we need belief that we can beat these so called big teams. Once we realise that we are as good or better than them we settle down and match or even better them ala Leeds & Forest.
