Lee-Barrett 7 No blame for the two goals, cracking save near the end

Liddle 6 Slow start, gave away the penalty, improved a little later

Elliott 7 Solid performance

Clark 8 Reads the game so well, his no-nonsense defending has been missed

Antwi 6

Moore 7 Played well, full of running, looks the part out wide

Sweeney 6 Full of effort, but clearly needed the ninety minutes

McCunnie 7 Playmaker role, saw more of the ball than any other player on the park

Robson 6

Barker ????

Brown 7 Outshone by Porter, but still played his part

Porter 10 Absolutely brilliant, scored 3, made the other 2, In my opinion the best performance by a Hartlepool forward since Adam Boyd’s hat trick against Sheffield Wednesday

Gibb 6

Mackay 7 Improving all the time

Cheeseburger consumed at match…Last night 7.……This morning -3

Joel was an absolute joy to watch last night, he simply destroyed the home defence, they couldn’t get near him. He was technically far superior to them in every department, he showed great skill, strength and awareness throughout.

He linked up well with Brown last night, I’d really like to see this forward line in operation again, in my opinion they both have the guile and craftsmanship to open up far better defences than Lincoln City's

Elliot-6

Antwi- 7

Mackay-8- gets himself in goalscoring positions EVERY match.

MadJohn- last Pools player to score a hat-trick away? Joe Allon at Runcorn?

If it's ever happened to a pools player that is.

I'd be surprised if it has.

To be honest pre-IOR Pools as a team didn't score three more than once a year so its unlikely.

He certainly should.

Unlucky with the guess for last away hat-trick. Paul Dalton's treble at Aldershot was a few months later than Allon's at Runcorn.

I wasn't including the league.
