I always thought the lad never really got a fair chance with us.

can't agree with YOU. Easter never ever got a chance at Pools, and then showed us up for mugs by scoring almost at will for every other side he's played for. we could do a lot lot worse.....

whatever you thought of him, you just can't argue with his scoring record since.

He was average at best, and he's got about one in four since he left us

Playing for Wales isn't that much to crow about.....

Easter did have talent but managed to flourish a decent career because he was given a chance by Cambridge I think. his chances at Pools were limited but when he did get the chance he tended to be cack.

He was well down the pecking order at Pools - the season he was released Pools had Paul Robinson, Marco Gabbiadini, Eifion Williams, Marcus Richardson, Adam Boyd on the books - we also signed Joel Porter and Jack Wilkinson looked a better prospect at the time - sometimes things just don't work out.

he was loaned out to spennymoor for fitness due to his being fourth/fifth choice and pretty avergae despite looking keen.

He refused to play so cooper fooked him off and rightly so.

Didn't Cooper put him on as a sub, and then took him off later in the match. Coops asked him why he played so badly, and he answered that he was nervous, and Coops said "I was f**king nervous watching you!!"

I'm sure that was a story that Cooper told everyone at a fans forum, I can't of been at the game where Easter came on and got subbed shortly after though.

I've never wished we still had him..........
