There's one in Krakow Poland, the same chain I think. Definitely the same outfits  clappp

I witnessed one of the best 'lost in translation' moments ever in that Hooters. A lad who we were with was still feeling a bit worse for wear from the night before but being a stag weekend he had to show commitment to drinking so he asked for " a Coke and a pint of lager" Obviously wanting the coke before he took on the pint. Anyway about five minutes later the lass (who was stunning by the way!) brought over what can only be described as a 'Pepsi Shandy' Pepsi and Polish lager IN THE SAME GLASS!! The dirty bastads rolfl

Sounds good to me.
I saw the same thing happen with a brandy and coke the other day. Please someone tell me brandy and coke doesn't really exist.

Come to think of it telling me just brandy doesn't exist would do!

Hooters is indeed a good place to start before the match. In fact, stay in there until 15 minutes before kick off as there is a shortage of pubs round the ground where away fans are welcome and they'll be packed.

Nottingham city centre has a huge variety of pubs and bars.

If you like real ale type pubs you've got The Bell, Salutation, Royal Children, Trip to Jerusalem, Bunkers Hill, Lincolnshire Poacher to name a few.

If you like Church Street type carry on go to Upper Parliament Street - Libertys, Number 10, and a few others.

If you're a bit sophisticated and don't mind spending a few bob head for Hockley and the Lace Market. Loads of swanky places there.

There's a cinema/bar/restaurant complex with loads of places in called the Cornerhouse.

There are about 5 or 6 smart bars down by the canal - Waterfront, Via Fossa and others.

There's loads of others as well. The best thing about the city centre is that everywhere is walking distance. The central point is Market Square, a big pedestrianised bit with fountains.

I have to admit I only go out in the city centre about once a month now, but I kicked the arse out of it for years.

Unless you go looking for chew you will not get any. The bouncers are humourless and love an excuse to turn people away. The police have 'zero tolerance' to rarfy behaviour and are equally as humourless. There is high quality blart everywhere, and most Nottingham bewers tend to like a north east accent.

The best kebabs you will ever have in your life are from Victoria Kebabs on Mansfield Road, just up from the Peacock, opposite the Rose of England.

Best curry house in the city centre is City Spice, near the Thurland Hall Hotel and Pit and Pendulum.

Fish and chips are all crap down here.

Me and a few others are out on the lash straight after the game, if anyone wants a guided tour give me a shout. One of the lads despite coming from Buckinghamshire is following Pools for the day, and its a kind of mini 'stag do' for him as he gets married on Wednesday.
