I'm thinking of getting one when I buy myself a new car next year.

I don't see the harm in them.

The right plate on the right car looks good. Funny how women can never figure out what they are trying to say.

There's a guy i've seen around the Clav area with a plate ***FTM. In small letters underneath it says "Fiick The Mags". This guy always has a Sunderland shirt on and must be in his late 40's.

You know when you just want to say to someone, fooking grow up

I can understand peoples initials on plates but abuse of another football club, which has obviously cost good money to buy. Wht oh why oh why
banghead banghead banghead

I've got one.

Had it for about 5 years now, love it. I got in nice and early so it didn't really cost me that much either. I'd rather have my number plate which I personally think it quite sutle, rather than a load of horrible stickers on my car.

I remember that year Preston came to the Vic with a couple of thousand fans, the took over the Millhouse stand, the score escapes me rolfl

When I walked past Asda they were all leaving the car park, dozens of cars with registration plates end PNE.

The reg on my last car had my initials on it. Believe it or not it was a total coincidence! My mates thought I had paid for the reg but it was already on the car. I should really have transferred it to my current car

Ah, the old personalised number plate debate... does it make the car work any better?...... sctatchinghead ....nah! Have you ever had the urge to congratulate someone for having one?..... scratchinghead .....nah!
Just another add on accessory for the genetically self centred egotist with more money than sense

My reg is not private but amusing nonetheless - P178 KAK

I had the choice of two virtually identical cars but I chose that one because it made me chuckle. And still does.

One of my mates has got a photo of it parked between two other cars, one of which had 'CUM' in the plate and the other one 'SAC' in it.

SNOWY

I am shocked!
that the reason you have started your post with the phrase " Ah, the old personalised number debate..." is because you have already made your mind up and have a strong opinion against personalised plates which you attempt to back up with a bit of implied ridicule to any one who has one,

except that turns your debate ia bit personal...which then turns the 'old debate' into an argument.

But you wouldn't want to do that would you? clappp

So Snowy, you think I'm "genetically self centred egotist with more money than sense", you've never met me yet you can come to that conclusion because I have a personal registration plate on my car.

That's pretty good going, here's me think I was just a Pools fan who liked cars.

I wonder what my mini hangus strapped into the back seat says about me then.

In Snowy's warped world it probably means that you have a monkey fetish and are not fussy whether or not you satisfy your urges with the real thing or a stuffed toy.

He really should learn not to judge everybody else by his own standards.
