Yeah right

They didn't like Foley running at them last night so they kicked him and we got free kicks.

But cos the manager thinks Foley is a midfielder most of the free kicks were near the half way line.

If he'd been playing up front they would have been edge of the area or penalties.

It's not Foley's fault that the manager has Scotty-itis and wants to play people out of position.

Porter and Moore. Monkhouse and Brown.

Foley for the last 20 minutes if needed. And Matty Robson as well. Which of the four mentioned does Foley get a start before?

First reserve behind those front two, but not just dismissed as an "impact player" who isn't good enough to start and confined to a career on the bench.

If he gets a chance up front and takes it then leave him in.

we are unlikely to ever find out unless wilson gives him half a dozen consecutive starts in the first team. which isnt gonna happen. unless he changes his name by deed poll.

If he changed his name to Godwin Antwi, he would be allowed to play wherever he likes!!!

An early booking from that weak-as-piss ref Pike might have helped when Carlisle decided that the easiest way of stopping Foley was to kick him up in the air. As Pike let them get away with it they kept doing it. That's hardly Wilson's fault. Monkhouse was unavailable last night so Wilson needed someone else to play that role. He decided Foley could do it better than, say, Robson. I'm sure it's a call that could have gone either way.

I still can't understand how we commited maybe half a dozen fouls tops compared to the countless fouls from Carlisle yet we had more players booked sctatchinghead

Also how did he miss 2 blatant corners for us when you could easily see the ball change direction after it come off one of their players
