Greetings from Scotchland Mr Glasses,

Finally found you on here.Hope you don't mind if i join you with a few Pools/fascist "real music" diatribes and of course the odd insight into the anthropological phenomenon that is life up here in County Cro-Magnon.
Beef
ps the russian nutter who owns Hearts has organized a mass give-away of club shirts and a couple of match tickets to every 7 year old in the Lothians . When asked by his class teacher if he wanted one Finlay's reply was " i've already got a Hartlepool shirt".Nuff said.

Cliques and ridiculous bitching about nothing......ah , the memories of the Poolie music scene come rushing back.Good to see that same level of camaraderie showing up on here.

Usually a half-full Kev. I reckon somethings happened on-site today...Safety Audit?? rolfl clappp

That's the thing Mr G, I like to try and see the positives.

But last night worried me.

It's all very well people quoting possession figures, but they just let us clart about sideways and backwards with the ball for the most part cos they were winning and knew we had nowt much to hurt them with.

i could'nt listen to Pools World as i was working last night .We seem to have abruptly become anxious at the back ( although i am underwhelmed by Budtz so God knows what the defence feel like ) and lacking a cutting edge up front.
Thinking positively , when i told Finlay the result this morning his reaction was " well , we didn't lose and we scored a goal more than ManU". The innocence of childhood.
Phil , would that prog. keyboard player you mentioned earlier be the same one who backed us in our rock superheros phase ?

Stiff upper lip as regards Pools inconsistency it is then.
The reason i couldnt listen to the game was because i was working in the education unit at Saughton Prison in Edinburgh . They had the Rangers European game on but had to turn it off because of sectarian chanting in the nick !
My class finished at half-time and i was out of the gate quicker than a Monkhouse kung-fu kick.

The music crack on here is a joy to behold. Regular poster "Salty" is Drummer in a fine local band trying to make it...I've told him from our experience to give up and join a club-band, but heigh-ho....

Re; My curtains .Thanks for asking, velour , with a tartan trim.
Salty , good luck with your band , drummers are a breed apart so hats off to you. I'm totally out of touch with whatever it is you young guns listen to/play , Elvis will vouch for my credentials as a hopeless 70's dinosaur.
