There have been some conversations taking place by PM to organise a reunion for the anniversary of the Poolie Pride CD.

Mr Monty has kindly agreed to offer hospitality at his public house. The thing is, it's in Montpellier - thats in France for the benefit of those without a map.

Here's the plan:

Friday 10th November: Fly from Liverpool to Nimes 11:45am
Arrive Nimes airport - train to Montpellier (not too far)
Friday night out on the town
Saturday night out on the town
check into IBIS hotel or similar in Montpellier
Sunday morning - fly back to Liverpool

Costs are approximately £100 for flights and hotels plus beer money.

Thats the detail, can we have a show of hands: Who is up for it? Say aye.

Won't we have a FA Cup tie on the Saturday?

Well if we get somewhere local as opposed to somewhere foreign it doesn't matter who we are playing that day.

I thought we were still considering the Montpellier option? It would be no good the week after either, Accrington Stanley, surely must have our best away following.

After considering the south of France I'm struggling to get excited about a pint in the touchdown!

By the end of November the pub's almost sure to be under new ownership. We just received news today that the buyers have finally had their loan application approved.

BUT ... does that really change anything? A piss-up's a piss-up when all's said and done

It matters not too much, still plenty of pubs and moist young things knocking about surely. I seem to remember a good night out in a place called oddly enough Kilimanjaro!

Probably a lot more realistic.

Nice idea. Would like to meet up. Four gigs already in November and taxman has just come round with his baseball bat - meaning dead skint for the next year basically.

That sounds almost as enticing as two nights in Montpellier
