I heard about it months ago when it happened. apparently the lads just saw her as a drunk who had collapsed in the street and didnt know she was actually dead. Great town Hartlepool isnt it!

The brother they quote, if I remember from the original reporting, hadn't seen his sister for over 20 years, despite the fact he only lived a few miles away. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't be in contact with their close relatives like that.

But getting back to the original point, hopefully he will be given a long time to think about his actions in Holme House Prison.
