considering we have a nuclear power station on our doorstep the government who may build a new one on the same site, decided to hold a consultation to find what people wanted and held it in newcastle,do you think they don,t trust us to make up our own minds,i mean we did,nt vote the way they wanted for the mayor so now we have no say whats happening in our own backyard

You want to try living 20 miles from a French nuclear power station. They've built 4, yes four, reactors without even consulting us. They let us know a couple of weeks later when they've had "an incident".

Mind, the eight foot long six clawed local lobsters are fantastic!
